For the mechanical aspect of our team, we use collaborative techniques during the brainstorming, prototyping, and building phases of our process. We use detailed drawings to map our plans for creating attachments before starting the building portion. Also, our major building goal for this year was to use two chassis instead of one, meaning we can use one for programming and one for building. Having two different chassis makes our engineering process much more facile and easier to document as well. By splitting our build team into smaller sub-groups, we are able to work and build more efficiently and productively during the time we have.
