MEET THE TEAM
We are RoboEpic, team 5017. Our team is made up of students from Greenwich Academy, an "all-girls" K-12 school; therefore, our team embraces the empowerment of women and other underrepresented groups to pursue STEM fields in their education and beyond. Our team has been competing in FTC since 2010 when the challenge “Bowled Over” was introduced. Over the years, our team has evolved with the graduating and incoming members, but our camaraderie as a group and enthusiasm for robotics has never wavered. We all come from unique backgrounds and have varying interests and hobbies, such as tae kwon do painting, and social justice. This allows us all to bring different skills to the team and have a variety of perspectives when approaching tasks; the diversity of our team members is our greatest asset when we come together.
